Challenge
Hillary Cosmetics needed a complete Shopify store built from the ground up — not a template drop-in, but a fully configured commerce experience tailored to their business. The requirements were specific: warehouse integrations, multi-language support, local Polish payment methods, a Romanian market extension, product bundles, and a range of custom metafield and collection structures. Operating in Poland adds a layer of complexity that generic Shopify setups don't account for — local regulations, payment infrastructure, and market expectations require deliberate configuration rather than default settings.

Solution
We built the store end-to-end on a premium Shopify theme, extending and configuring it to meet Hillary's requirements precisely. The project was structured as a phased delivery — each stage defined in writing, reviewed in calls, and signed off before the next began. Warehouse connections were integrated, Polish payment providers configured, and the Romanian market added as a separate sales channel. Bundle products, metafields, and collection logic were all built to the client's specifications. Email flows were set up and connected to the store's segmentation.
Process
Discovery & Requirements
We mapped all requirements before writing a line of configuration: warehouse systems, payment providers, market scope, bundle logic, language needs, and metafield structures. Everything was documented and agreed before work began.
Theme Setup & Core Build
The premium theme was configured and extended to match Hillary's brand and product structure. Custom sections, metafield displays, and collection logic were built to the agreed spec.
Integrations & Markets
Warehouse integrations were connected, Polish payment systems configured, and the Romanian market added as a separate channel. Multi-language setup covered both UI and product content.
Bundles, Flows & Handoff
Bundle products were configured, email marketing flows set up and tested, and remaining metafield and collection requirements finalised. Each phase was reviewed and approved before closing.
Results
Multi-market from day one
The store launched with both Polish and Romanian markets active — separate configurations, payment methods, and languages handled within a single Shopify instance.
Polish market complexity, handled
Local payment infrastructure and regulatory requirements were addressed directly during build — not patched in afterwards. The store works the way Polish shoppers expect it to.
Phased, documented delivery
Every stage of the project was scoped in writing and reviewed in calls before work began. The client always knew what was being built, why, and what came next.
Fully operational on launch
Warehouses connected, email flows live, bundles configured, metafields structured. Hillary launched with a store that was complete — not a foundation to be finished later.
Hillary Cosmetics sells natural and organic cosmetics to the Polish market and beyond — a category where the product story matters as much as the purchase flow. The brand needed a store that could carry both.
The build scope was broad by design. Warehouse connections, local Polish payment systems, a Romanian market extension, bundle product logic, multi-language configuration, email flows, and a range of custom metafield and collection structures — all of it needed to work together from day one.
Building for the Polish market adds friction that standard Shopify setups don’t anticipate. Payment infrastructure, regulatory context, and shopper expectations don’t map cleanly onto global defaults. The integrations required deliberate selection and configuration, not out-of-the-box installation.
The project ran in clearly defined phases. Each stage was scoped in writing, reviewed in a call, and signed off before the next began. That structure kept the build on track and gave the client full visibility at every point — no surprises, no scope drift.
Hillary launched with a store that was complete: two markets active, three languages configured, warehouses live, and email flows running. Built for where they operate, not just where Shopify assumes they do.
