Challenge
Lunara Light didn't have an existing store to improve — there was no store at all. The brief wasn't just 'build a website.' It was: research the market, identify products worth selling, source suppliers, configure payments, set up fulfilment, and launch a functioning e-commerce business. Then evolve it — starting with a single-product focus and scaling the catalogue as demand and supplier relationships grew.

Solution
We took ownership of the full scope: market and competitor research to identify positioning and product mix, supplier analysis and catalogue curation, Shopify store build on a commercial theme with full customisation for the multi-product layout, payment provider setup and integration, and shipping configuration across multiple suppliers. The store launched first as a focused single-product experience, then was rebuilt and expanded into a broad multi-vendor health and beauty catalogue — without starting over.
Process
Market & Product Research
Before writing a single line of code, we analysed the health and beauty e-commerce space — competitor positioning, product demand, margin potential, and supplier landscape. That research shaped the product mix and informed the store architecture.
Supplier Setup & Payments
Sourced and onboarded suppliers, configured payment providers, and set up shipping rules across multiple fulfilment partners. Getting this infrastructure right early meant the store could scale without re-engineering the back-end every time a new supplier came on.
Shopify Build — Single Product Phase
Built the initial Shopify store on a commercial theme, customised for a focused single-product launch. The goal was speed to market and conversion clarity — not complexity.
Catalogue Expansion & Rebuild
As the business grew, the store was restructured to support a multi-product, multi-category catalogue. Navigation, collection architecture, product page templates, and the homepage were all adapted for a broader assortment without disrupting the live store.
Results
Zero to operating business
Not a redesign, not a migration — a full business launch. From initial market research through to first sale, every commercial and technical layer was built by us.
Single-product to multi-vendor catalogue
The store was initially built around one flagship product, then restructured and expanded into a full multi-category catalogue without losing operational continuity.
Multi-supplier fulfilment
Shipping was configured across multiple suppliers with different logistics requirements — giving the business flexibility to onboard new products without rebuilding the fulfilment stack each time.
Ongoing partnership
The engagement started in 2025 and is still active. As the business grows, so does the store — new products, new categories, continuous technical support.
Lunara Light is a health and beauty retailer selling across a broad range of categories — facial devices, massagers, depilators, maternity products, and more. The brand curates products from multiple suppliers under one storefront, positioned as a destination for at-home beauty and wellness.
The project started before any of that existed.
There was no store, no product catalogue, no supplier relationships, no payment setup. The brief was to build a business — not just a website. That meant starting with research: understanding the market, identifying what products were worth selling and at what margins, finding suppliers, and building the commercial infrastructure before touching a theme file.
The Shopify store launched first as a single-product experience — focused, fast, and built to convert. As the business grew and the catalogue expanded, we rebuilt the store architecture to support a proper multi-vendor, multi-category operation: new navigation, new collection logic, updated product templates, all while the store stayed live.
Payments, shipping across multiple fulfilment providers, and ongoing development support have remained in scope throughout. The engagement is still active.
"Working with this team meant I didn't have to figure out the business side on my own. They came in, understood what needed to happen, and built everything — from market research to a live, working store."
